Regular Service & Maintenance of powered access platforms is a
requirement of Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER
1998) and Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER
1998).
Lifting equipment can become unreliable and develop faults due to poor or
no maintenance. Regular servicing will increase a lifespan of your aerial
access equipment and prevent minor faults developing into serious problems
and breakdowns.
Alfa Access Services can help you establish a scheduled preventative
maintenance programme, which will take into account a MEWP’s frequency
of use, environmental conditions, risk assessment and platform
manufacturer's service recommendations.
We offer routine planned maintenance to supplement LOLER Inspections
carried out by us or a third party. All our Service quotations include travel,
labour, service parts and consumables, and free complementary safety
checks, which are recorded in a MEWP Service File. Regular service
typically includes lubrication, oil and water top-up, change of oil, air, fuel,
hydraulic filters if required. We can also carry out more complex life-cycle
maintenance (complete boom and chain inspection / greasing, change of
hydraulic fluid, electrical cable and hydraulic hose replacement, etc). Regular
Service and Maintenance can be carried out as a stand-alone visit or tied in
with a MEWP LOLER Inspection (Thorough Examination).
We service and maintain Teupen, Genie, ELS, Haulotte, Niftylift, ATN,
Skyjack, Denka, Platform Basket, Bravi, JLG, CMC, Omega, Upright,
Snorkel, Versalift, Terex, Manitou, Omme, Bluelift, CTE, Aerial, Liftlux,
Hinowa, Oil & Steel, PB Lift and many more.
